Marketing Intern Job Description
Intern will focus on creative and experimental marketing with emphasis on social media and general marketing activities.
Duties will include:
- Ensure all of CID's packages are marketed affectively
- Manage CID's Entertainment Facebook page
- Tweet on CID promotions and music industry goings on
- Facilitate brand protection on all social media channels
- Executing social media strategies and tactics
- Create and maintain blogger/influencer lists
- Preforming quality assurance on all pre-sale & on-sale links
- Tracking traffic and mentions on websites and social media
- Assisting in creating a message schedule
- Online community engagement
- Stay informed on the live music scene
- Writing copy for e-mail blasts & press releases
- Conducting music/entertainment related research
- Innovating new ways CID can reach more people
- Administrative work
Requirements for the position are as follows:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer / internet savvy
- Knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Stumble Upon, Flickr, Foursquare, StumbleUpon, Forums, Wikis, blog etc.)
- Possess strong research skills
- Have strong work ethic
- Be able to manage time wisely
- Be a nice person
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with Dreamweaver and / or Photoshop a plus.
As an intern, you’ll be an essential part of the CID team and have a fun time while gaining valuable knowledge and work experience in entertainment industry marketing.
Internship can be used for college credit.
Must be available at least 3-5 days a week.
