We are truly sorry to inform our fans and friends that we must postpone our upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand.
As most of you probably know, our brother James has been struggling with addiction on and off for many years. He has now, unfortunately, had to re-enter a treatment program to work on his recovery again.
We fully intend to make our way to your part of the world as soon as health and schedule permit. We’ll let you know as soon as we can. Once again, we are devastated that we have inconvenienced so many of you, especially our most loyal fans who often travel great distances to experience our shows. We appreciate your understanding and support for James and, as always, thank you for being a part of our Metallica family.
All tickets purchased to the shows in Australia and New Zealand, including Enhanced Experiences and Black Tickets, will be fully refunded. More details on how to obtain your refund are in the FAQ below
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do I have to do in order to get my full refund for my Black Ticket or Enhanced Experience package?
A: No action is needed on your end. All refunds will be automatically refunded to the account tied to the card used during the purchase process.
Q: How long will it take to receive my refund?
A: Refunds will typically take 7-10 business days to be processed. Refunds will be processed by the ticketing company that originally processed your order (i.e. the company that sent you the receipt you received right after purchasing.)
Q: What if the credit card I used is no longer active?
A: If your card has been cancelled or is no longer active, you will need to contact your financial institution associated with the card as to how to receive the funds. We are unable to refund a different card than the one used during the purchase process. If the financial institution is unable to return the funds to you, please let us know directly and we will look into your options.
