Metallica Mexico City Travel Package FAQs
Q: Do the Metallica Travel Packages have a minimum age?
A: There is not a minimum age to attend the concert and the Enhanced Experiences. However, all persons must be 18+ to purchase and check into the hotel. Persons under the age of 18 years may still occupy a room; however the person whose name is booked for the reservation must be 18 years of age to check in. Please be sure to bring valid photo identification.
Q: Can I choose whether I get a general admission field ticket or a premium reserved seat?
A: Upon purchase, you will choose either to watch the show from a reserved seat, or from the general admission standing room only field. Your ticket grants you access to the section you purchased, and is not exchangeable with any other section of the venue.
Q: How will I receive my Travel Package tickets?
A: You will receive your concert tickets at the travel package check-in at your hotel.
Q: Where will I receive my merchandise gifts?
A: We will have a separate Travel Package check-in for you at the hotel. This is where you will pick up your merchandise. As it gets closer to the event, the ticket purchaser will receive an informational email with all of the event details including the times and locations for all Enhanced Experience activities. Please be sure to bring a valid photo identification.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out at the hotel?
A: All guests can check into their room beginning at 3pm each day and must be checked out at the end of their stay by 12pm.
Q: Is Enhanced Experience parking at the hotel included?
A: Hotel parking is not included in the package. Valet parking is available at the hotel for $10 USD per day.
Q: How can I get to the concert from the hotel?
A: One of the easiest ways to get to the venue is by riding the Metro public transportation. There are also taxi cabs and ridesharing services, like Uber, readily available throughout Mexico City.
Q: Can I bring my own camera?
A: Yes! You will be allowed to bring a standard point-and-shoot camera. All camera phones are acceptable, however, cameras with detachable lenses will not be permitted.
Q: The people attending the concert with me may be arriving late. How can they check-in and get their tickets and merchandise?
A: The original purchaser will pick up everyone’s tickets, merchandise and Enhanced Experience credentials. They will have to distribute accordingly. We advise everyone enter the concert all at once.
Q: I purchased packages for my family, but I will not be in attendance. Can they check-in on my behalf?
A: These packages are non-transferrable. In order to inquire about authorizing someone else to pick up your tickets, the original purchaser must contact our Guest Services team at 888-805-8930 or firstname.lastname@example.org at least 2 weeks before the event date to see if there are any alternate pick-up options available.
Q: Can I use my CID package for a contest/giveaway or to promote my website/product/event?
A: No. CID Entertainment’s trademarks, intellectual property, tickets and other offerings may NOT be used for advertising, promotions, auctions, contests, sweepstakes or any commercial purpose, without express written consent from CID and its partners. Q: Is there a payment plan for these packages?
A: There is not a payment plan for these packages.
Q: What if I change my mind and don’t want my package?
A: All packages are non-refundable. Please refer to the Purchase Policy for complete details.
