Jazz Fest 2020 Travel Package FAQs

Q: Can I purchase a package over the phone?
A: Unfortunately, we are unable to process any orders over the phone and therefore all packages must be purchased online. However, we’re happy to help walk you through the purchasing process if you’d like to give us a ring at 888-805-8930!
Q: Do the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Packages have a minimum age?
A: There is not a minimum age to attend the festival but all persons must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a travel package and check-in to the hotels. Persons under the age of 21 years may still occupy a room, however the person whose name is booked for the reservation must be 21 years of age to check-in and must present valid photo identification.
Q: Where will I receive my tickets?
A: A CID Entertainment representative will be at the hotel to assist you. Here you can check-in and pick up your tickets and shuttle passes for a weekend of fun! As it gets closer to the event, the package purchaser will receive an email with all of the event details, including exact times and locations for travel package check-in.
Q: Do I need to bring the credit card that was used to purchase my package?
A: The hotel will require a credit card in case of incidentals, though it does not need to be the same credit card that was used to purchase the package. Please present valid photo identification at check-in.
Q: What are the differences between the Krewe of Jazz, Grand Marshal, and Big Chief VIP tickets?
A: You can view specific details regarding each ticket type on the official Jazz Fest website here. Please know that package elements are specific to each VIP level – the lower tier elements do not carry over to the higher tier elements.
Q: Is there a payment plan for the Travel Packages?
A: Yes! An optional payment plan can be selected during the purchase process. If you purchase after March 4th, you will be charged for the package in full upon your purchase.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out at the hotels?
A: We abide by the hotel’s standard check-in and check-out times.

Loews New Orleans – Check In 4PM & Check Out 11AM
Q: Is parking provided at the hotels?
A: Hotel parking is not included in these packages. However, shuttle transportation is available to and from the event. As it gets closer to the event, the package purchaser will receive an email with all of the event details, including exact times and locations for the shuttle services.
Q: How far are the hotels from Jazz Fest?
A: Hyatt House New Orleans & Loews New Orleans are both under 4 miles away from the venue, which is located at the Fair Grounds Race Course.
Q: What if I’d like to extend my stay beyond the travel package dates?
A: If you’d like to extend your stay beyond the dates included in your travel package, you would need to book the additional night(s) through the hotel directly. Once that booking is made, you may contact us at email@example.com or at 888-805-8930 with your reservation information and we can submit a request to the hotel to link the reservations. While the hotel will always do their best to accommodate, there is a small chance you may have to switch rooms since all additional night requests are based on hotel availability.
Q: The people attending the festival with me may be arriving late. How can they check in to the hotel and get their tickets and shuttle passes?
A: The original purchaser will pick up all tickets and shuttle passes upon Travel Package Check-in at the hotel. They will have to distribute accordingly. We advise everyone to arrive at the hotel all at once.
Q: I purchased a package as a gift, but I will not be in attendance. How can my friend or family member pick up the package on my behalf?
A: In order to accommodate this, the original purchaser must contact our Guest Services team at 888-805-8930 or firstname.lastname@example.org to authorize an alternate pick-up person at least 2 weeks before the event date. This authorization will allow a friend or family member to pick-up the package on the purchaser’s behalf. All informational emails and correspondence will still go to the original purchaser and it is up to them to relay the information to the guest that is attending the event.
Q: Can I use my CID package for a contest/giveaway or to promote my website/product/event?
A: No. CID Entertainment’s trademarks, intellectual property, tickets and other offerings may NOT be used for advertising, promotions, auctions, contests, sweepstakes or any commercial purpose, without express written consent from CID and its partners. Q: What if I change my mind and don’t want my package?
A: All packages are nonrefundable. Please refer to the Purchase Policy for complete details.
