Travel Package FAQs
Q: Do the travel packages have a minimum age?
A: The festival is all ages, however, when purchasing a travel package, all persons must be at least 21 years of age to check into the hotel. People under the age of 21 may still occupy a room; however the person whose name is booked on the reservation must be 21 years of age to check in and must present valid photo identification.
Q: Where will I receive my festival tickets?
A: CID Entertainment representatives will be at a designated location within the hotel to assist you. Here you can check in, and pick up your tickets, as well as any merchandise or additional items that come with your package.
Please be sure to bring a valid photo ID and credit card. Although your room is paid for in full, you will need a credit card for any incidentals you may incur. Approximately one week prior to the event date, the package purchaser will receive an informational email with the exact time and location for Travel Package check-in.
Q: If I’m unable to make it to Travel Package Check-in, how can I receive my merchandise?
A: All merchandise must be redeemed at our Travel Package Check-in. We are unable to ship out any merchandise post-event.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out at the hotels?
A: We abide by the hotel’s standard check-in and check-out times, which are:
Four Points by Sheraton: Check-in begins at 3pm each day and all guests must be checked out on the end of their stay by 12pm.
Hampton Inn Montage Mountain: Check-in begins at 3pm each day and all guests must be checked out on the end of their stay by 12pm.
Courtyard by Marriott: Check-in begins at 4pm each day and all guests must be checked out on the end of their stay by 11am.
SpringHill Suites: Check-in begins at 3pm each day and all guests must be checked out on the end of their stay by 11am.
TownePlace Suites: Check-in begins at 4pm each day and all guests must be checked out on the end of their stay by 12pm.
Q: Is parking provided at the hotel?
A: Hotel parking is not included in the travel packages. Please inquire with the hotel directly regarding their parking options and fees.
Q: Do I need to purchase a festival parking pass/is shuttle service included in my package?
A: It is not necessary to purchase parking passes with this travel package. Shuttle service between the hotel and venue is included in your package. We will let you know the specific shuttle schedule closer to the event – stay tuned for an informational email!
Q: How can I extend my hotel stay?
A: If you would like to book additional nights, you will need to do so through the hotel directly with the same room type as your travel package. Once the additional nights are booked, you may contact CID Guest Services at 888-805-8930 or at firstname.lastname@example.org with your reservation information and we can submit a request to the hotel to link those nights with your package. While the hotel will always do their best to accommodate, there is a small chance you may have to switch rooms as all additional night requests are based on hotel availability.
Q: What if I already have my tickets and a hotel, but would like to use the shuttle transportation to/from the festival?
A: We sell shuttle passes separately here.
Q: Can I use my CID package for a contest/giveaway or to promote my website/product/event?
A: No. CID Entertainment’s trademarks, intellectual property, tickets and other offerings may NOT be used for advertising, promotions, auctions, contests, sweepstakes or any commercial purpose, without express written consent from CID and its partners. Q: I purchased a package as a gift, but I will not be in attendance. How can my friend and family member pick up their ticket on my behalf?
A: In order to accommodate this, the original purchaser must contact our Guest Services team at 888-805-8930 or email@example.com to authorize an alternate pick-up person at least 2 weeks before the event date. This authorization will allow a friend or family member to pick up the package on the purchaser’s behalf. All informational emails and correspondence will still go to the original purchaser and it is up to them to relay the information to the guest that is attending the event.
Q: What if I change my mind and don’t want my package?
A: All packages are non-refundable. Please refer to the Purchase Policy for complete details.
