Q: Do the Tortuga Travel Packages have a minimum age?
A: Tortuga is open to people of all ages! In fact, all kids 10 and under get in free! However, when purchasing a travel package, all persons must be at least 18 years of age to check into the hotel. Persons under the age of 18 years may still occupy a room; however the person whose name is booked for the reservation must be 18 years of age to check in and must present valid photo identification. Of course, any alcoholic beverages are for patrons that are 21 years or older.
Q: Where will I receive my tickets?
A: A CID Entertainment Representative will be in the main lobby of the hotel to assist you. Here you can check-in and pick up your tickets for a weekend of fun! Please bring your receipt, picture ID, and credit card. As it gets closer to the event, the package purchaser will receive an e-mail with all of the event details, including exact times and locations for the check-in and VIP activities.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa?
A: Check-in begins at 4pm each day and all guests must be checked out on the end of their stay by 11am. Express check-in and check-out is available upon request but please call the Fort Lauderdale Marriott to arrange those accommodations.
Q: Is parking provided at the hotel?
A: Hotel parking is not included in this package. Valet parking is available for an additional fee.
Q: How far is the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa from the festival?
A: The hotel is just about a half mile away from all of the fun and music!
Q: Where can I find parking at the festival?
A: There is no parking at the festival, so we encourage everyone to take a water taxi or shuttle to the festival. More info and pricing will be available soon. Sign up for the Tortuga newsletter to be the first to find out about different available options!
Q: The people attending the festival with me may be arriving late. How can they check-in to the hotel and get their tickets and merchandise?
A: The original purchaser will pick up everyone’s tickets and merchandise upon check-in at the hotel. They will have to distribute accordingly. We advise everyone arrive at the hotel all at once.
Q: I purchased packages for my family, but I will not be in attendance. Can they check-in at the hotel on my behalf?
A: Please have the purchaser contact Guest Services at 888-805-8930 to issue a name change to a person or family member attending at least one week prior to the festival.
Q: Is there a payment plan for these packages?
A: Yes! An initial 60% deposit is needed to reserve your package and the final payment will be automatically charged on 3/14/14 to the same card used for the deposit.
